This individual is an imaginative fast thinking conceptual Senior Designer with experience in branding/fashion and is able to independently create visual solutions for advertising campaigns and collateral that is provocative and engaging while staying within the perimeters of the brand.Core Job Responsibilities:Design and develop visual systems for special events, private label, seasonal and store campaigns. This includes: invitations, pcs, shopping bags, packaging, logo identity, newspaper and catalogue Create original designs for in-store, storewide advertising campaigns, newspapers, magazines, social media and catalogsExecute design and type direction for each season, store openings and special events in conjunction with team including Associate Creative Director, Art Directors and Copywriters, to ensure consistencyCreation of comprehensive layouts and graphics with a keen understanding of type, color, illustration and fashion photography. Support Associate Creative Director in the process of creating marketing materials and building campaigns.Research the latest cutting edge design, typography, illustrators, fashion, culture and present to Associate Creative Director and team.Attend and contribute to turn-in meetings with Creative Team, Account Executives and Buyers/MerchantsAbility to work independently, take ownership of accounts, collaborate and manage JuniorsQuality control of design, printing, creation of mechanicals, prepress and file releaseJob Qualifications/Requirements:Exceptional typographic communication skillsMS/BS/BA in Visual Communication and/or Graphic DesignMinimum of 5 years experience in graphic design/branding/fashion/packagingSelf-initiated, proactive, organized and able to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesVisual Communication, Graphics, Branding and Fashion knowledge is a mustStrong organizational and communication skills.
