Senior Director Supply Chain

The organization is investing heavily in lower-carbon solutions and is currently delivering major programs that will play an important role in the future of the energy industry.About the RoleThis person will lead the procurement and supply chain strategy across two major CAPEX projects. This is a highly senior leadership role with responsibility for managing Supply Chain Managers and their wider teams, whilst reporting into Senior leadership. You will set the overall program strategy across procurement, sourcing, supplier management, expediting and logistics, ensuring supply chain activities remain aligned with cost, schedule, risk and execution requirements throughout the full project lifecycle.You will work closely with program leadership, clients, engineering, construction and external partners to secure market capacity, manage commercial and supplier risk, and ensure the programs are prepared for successful execution.About YouYou will be an experienced supply chain and procurement leader with a strong background supporting major EPC, EPCM or capital programs within energy, chemicals, LNG, carbon capture or a related industrial sector. You should have personally led large, complex supply chain organizations and managed senior procurement or supply chain leaders and their teams.Your experience should cover the full supply chain lifecycle, including procurement strategy, category and sourcing strategy, supplier management, expediting and logistics.You will be comfortable making independent strategic decisions, presenting complex recommendations to senior executives and clients, and ensuring procurement supports engineering, construction, commissioning and overall program delivery. This role requires a commercially minded leader who can see the wider program while still understanding the execution challenges affecting individual projects and suppliers.
