We offer an attractive remuneration package, a progressive work environment, and a comprehensive employee benefits programme.Objectives of the RoleDesign, develop, and deploy backend applications using .NET Core, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.Drive the implementation of microservices architecture for modular and efficient application design.Champion engineering quality through code reviews, mentorship, and best coding practices.Ensure high availability and low-latency operation of production services.Your TasksDesign and implement microservices using .NET Core, C#Integrate message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka) for efficient communication between microservices.Apply application security best practices across services and APIs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and create effective technical solutions.Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.Troubleshoot and optimise application performance in production.Stay informed about advancements in the .NET ecosystem and backend best practices.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).5+ years of professional experience in .NET backend development.Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.Strong proficiency in C#, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework Core, and application design patterns.Solid understanding of database design and development (SQL Server, NoSQL databases like MongoDB).Knowledge of application security best practices (e.g., OWASP, secure API design).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (e.g., Azure DevOps).Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns.Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor junior developers.Preferred Skills and QualificationsOwn and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices for the team.Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with observability tooling (structured logging, distributed tracing, monitoring).Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.Professional certification in .NET development or Azure (e.g., Azure Developer Associate).Strong experience with the ABP framework nice to have.
