Senior Draughtsman (fit-out)

SCOPE: The Senior Draughtsman (fit-out) is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans, providing guidance to the drafting team, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Technical Drawing:Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on project requirements and design specifications.Team Supervision:Provide guidance and mentorship to draughtsman, overseeing their work quality and adherence to standards.Quality Assurance:Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.Collaboration:Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.Software Proficiency:Utilize CAD software proficiently, implementing best practices and innovative techniques to improve efficiency.Documentation:Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.Primary Deliverables:Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data.Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilitiesSecondary Deliverables:Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software.Provide guidance and mentorship to draftsmen, ensuring adherence to standards.Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of drawings with design standards and requirements.Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.Stay updated on CAD software advancements and implement best practices for improved efficiency.Maintain detailed documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.SKILLS:CAD software proficiency, technical drawing, design interpretation.Quality assurance, mentorship, project coordination.Communication, teamwork, problem-solving, attention to detail.KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.Minimum 6-8 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related role within the construction or fit-out industry.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and other relevant design tools.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTION:Attention to DetailAnalytical ThinkingCommunication SkillsLeadership AbilitiesProblem-solving SkillsTeam Player
