Team members join a growing organization that values technical excellence, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative problem solving.Role Description The Senior Drilling Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for planning and designing drilling programs for geothermal, oil, and gas wells, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The Senior Drilling Engineer will perform detailed well planning, evaluate drilling risks, and provide technical input on well trajectories, casing designs, and drilling fluids. Day-to-day activities include analyzing real-time drilling data, optimizing drilling parameters, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting field operations with troubleshooting and performance improvement initiatives. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, contributing to continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, and collaborating with clients to align technical solutions with project objectives.Qualifications Strong foundation in Petroleum Engineering and petroleum industry fundamentals, with the ability to apply these principles to geothermal, oil, and gas projects.Advanced Drilling and Drilling Engineering skills, including wellbore design, drilling optimization, risk analysis, and application of industry standards and best practices.Proficiency in Well Planning, including directional well design, casing and tubing programs, and integration of geoscience and reservoir inputs.Experience with drilling-related software, real-time data monitoring tools, and analytics platforms for performance optimization.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Significant professional experience in drilling operations for geothermal, oil, or gas projects, preferably in senior or lead engineering roles.Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making abilities, with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients, and for mentoring less-experienced engineers.Willingness to work on-site in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area and occasionally visit field locations as project needs require.
