Our long-standing workforce are our greatest asset; the expertise and knowledge they bring has resulted in our successful track record and continues to shape our future growth strategy.About the roleThe Senior DUA Credit Control Analyst is responsible for overseeing the timely collection, reconciliation and allocation of premium relating to delegated authority business. The role works closely with brokers, coverholders, underwriting teams, finance and external market stakeholders to ensure premiums are received in line with contractual terms, outstanding balances are actively managed, and credit control processes are delivered accurately and efficiently. The candidate will play a key role in managing aged debt, resolving premium and bordereaux discrepancies, supporting cash allocation activity, and contributing to robust governance across DUA arrangements.Key responsibilitiesResponsible for the operation of the credit control function in relation to all Delegated Authority by ASML managed Syndicates. Monitor and manage delegated authority premium debt, ensuring timely follow-up of overdue balances with brokers, coverholders and other relevant parties.Reconcile written, signed and settled premium bordereaux to identify outstanding declarations, payment variances, data discrepancies and allocation issues ensuring that any trends are investigated and actionedCreate and maintain accurate DUA credit control process documents to satisfy audit requirements Prepare and present regular DUA Credit Control reports consisting of KPI summaries and performance statistics to the various committees Liaise with brokers and coverholders to ensure payment expectations, contractual terms and reporting requirements are clearly understood and metIdentify recurring issues, root causes and process improvement opportunities relating to premium collection, data quality and bordereaux reporting.Strive for continuous improvement initiatives across delegated authority credit control processes, systems, controls and reporting.Build and maintain effective relationships with your various stakeholdersUndertake any other related duties as may be reasonably requiredWorking for a regulated Company, you will be expected to perform your duties to the highest of standards, in accordance with the following Conduct Rules as specified by the FCA:- You must act with integrity- You must act with due care, skill and diligence- You must be open and co-operative with the FCA, PRA and other regulators- You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly- You must observe proper standards of market conduct.Skills and experienceProven DUA credit control experience within a Lloyd’s Syndicate, including binders, lineslips, consortia, coverholders and bordereaux processes, is essentialHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other London Market insurance software applications.
