Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee delegated authority premium debt across multiple portfolios.Proactively monitor and chase overdue balances with brokers, coverholders and other market counterparties.Reconcile written, signed and settled premium bordereaux, identifying variances, discrepancies and allocation issues.Investigate outstanding declarations and payment differences, ensuring timely resolution.Produce and present regular KPI and performance reporting to senior stakeholders and committees.Maintain accurate credit control process documentation and support audit requirements.Build strong relationships with underwriting, finance, brokers and coverholders.Identify trends, recurring issues and opportunities for process improvements.Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of controls, reporting and operational efficiencies.About You:Proven experience within DUA / Delegated Authority Credit Control in the London Insurance Market.Strong knowledge of binders, coverholders, bordereaux, lineslips and consortium business.Excellent understanding of premium collections, reconciliations and aged debt management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of premium and financial data.Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups and data analysis.Comfortable working with both internal and external stakeholders.Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively.Why Apply?Join a well-established and respected London Market insurer.Play a key role within a specialist delegated authority function.Broad stakeholder exposure across underwriting, finance and operations.Opportunity to drive process improvements and add real value to the business.
