Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a full-time, on-site role based in Villahermosa, TAB. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling volunteers to support store events, community outreach activities, and special projects. The Coordinator of Volunteers will design and deliver training sessions, ensure volunteers understand their responsibilities, and provide ongoing guidance and support. On a day-to-day basis, this role will maintain volunteer records, track hours, prepare reports, and coordinate communication with volunteers through email, phone, and in-person meetings. The Coordinator will also collaborate with store management and community partners to plan outreach initiatives and ensure a positive volunteer experience aligned with the organization’s values.QualificationsStrong Volunteer Management skills, including recruitment, scheduling, and retention of volunteers.Experience in Volunteer Training, with the ability to design and deliver clear, practical training sessions.Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills for engaging diverse volunteers, staff, and community members.Knowledge of Community Outreach practices and ability to support or lead local engagement initiatives.Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple activities and maintain accurate records.Ability to work on-site in Villahermosa, TAB and collaborate effectively with store leadership and teams.Prior experience in volunteer coordination, community programs, or customer-facing roles is preferred.Basic proficiency with office software and digital communication tools; bilingual Spanish/English is an advantage.
