🚀 AVIONICS HARDWARE ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER📍 Los Angeles, CA | Onsite five days per week💰 $150,000–$200,000 + equity🏢 Full-time, direct hireMust be a US person.Presented by Talent StackTalent Stack is managing this confidential search for a rapidly growing aerospace and defense technology company developing advanced flight systems.THE ROLEDesign and own complex mixed-signal and high-speed PCBs from initial architecture through flight integration. This is not a systems-only or narrowly segmented design position—the engineer must have hands-on, end-to-end hardware ownership.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign mixed-signal and high-speed PCBs using Altium Designer.Own architecture, schematic capture, component selection, layout, and design reviews.Lead board bring-up, validation, debugging, and root-cause analysis.Develop hardware test environments and qualification plans.Support production, system integration, and flight testing.Collaborate with embedded software, FPGA, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a STEM discipline.At least 5 years of professional electrical hardware design experience.Professional, hands-on experience using Altium Designer.Demonstrated ownership of at least one complex PCB or PCBA through the complete development lifecycle.Experience with mixed-signal and high-speed digital circuit design.Experience with schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout, board bring-up, validation, and production support.Hands-on debugging experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies, and related laboratory equipment.Ability to independently make technical decisions and drive hardware issues through resolution.Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles five days per week.You are a U.S. Person according to Federal Regulations/ Eligibility to access applicable U.S. export-controlled technical information.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAerospace, avionics, defense, automotive, robotics, or high-performance computing experience.Startup or fast-paced product-development experience.Experience with power electronics, motor controllers, avionics backplanes, power distribution, embedded systems, or FPGA-adjacent hardware.Experience with environmental qualification, system integration, or flight testing.Familiarity with MIL-STD requirements or DO-254.Apply through this posting or message Talent Stack directlyNo C2C or third-party submissions.This position involves export-controlled technical information.
