From blank sheet to deployment. You'll succeed here if you enjoy making engineering decisions rather than waiting for someone else to make them. We're partnering with a venture-backed engineering company developing advanced autonomous hardware. As they expand their electrical engineering team and move from early development into production, they're looking for Senior Electrical Hardware Engineers who want genuine end-to-end ownership of complex electronic systems. This isn't a role where you'll design one small part of a product. You'll become the Responsible Engineer for a critical electrical subsystem, owning it from architecture and schematic design through PCB layout, bring-up, validation, manufacturing and deployment. The team is targeting hardware in the field within months, making fast, sound engineering decisions to deliver working products, not perfect designs that never leave the lab. If you enjoy solving difficult engineering problems from first principles and taking complete ownership, this is the role for you. What You'll Be DoingOwn the complete lifecycle of a critical electrical subsystemArchitect, design and develop complex multilayer PCBAsLead hardware bring-up, debugging and validation using oscilloscopes and laboratory equipmentWork closely with embedded software and mechanical engineering teamsDesign for power efficiency and harsh operating environments, including conformal coating and ingress protectionSupport manufacturing, testing and field deploymentDrive engineering decisions from concept through productionWe're Looking For4–7 years' experience designing PCBAs through to productionExperience personally owning hardware from concept through manufacturing, not simply contributing to one part of a larger programStrong expertise in one of the following:High-Speed Digital Electronics (PCIe, DDR, Signal Integrity)Battery & Power Electronics (BMS, DC-DC, Power Distribution)Motor Control Electronics (BLDC, GaN, MOSFETs)Professional experience with Altium Designer (or equivalent PCB design software)Hands-on board bring-up, debugging and validation experienceBackgrounds in automotive, EV, robotics, aerospace, defense technology or other advanced hardware environments are highly desirableThe Kind of Engineer Who Thrives HereYou're a builder. You enjoy taking ownership, solving problems from first principles and moving quickly. You're deeply curious and interrogate a requirement rather than accept it. You're comfortable making engineering decisions, learning new challenges and taking responsibility for delivering real hardware, not waiting for layers of process or handoffs. Why Join?Own an entire electrical subsystem from concept through deploymentBuild custom hardware rather than iterating on legacy designsNo layers between you and the designMeaningful early-stage equity, with flexibility to weight the package more towards base salary if preferredSee your work deployed in months, not yearsCompensationThe band reflects the core senior range. There is genuine flexibility above it for exceptional candidates.RequirementsBS or higher in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required.
