Technology Development | Sanford, FL | Onsite | Full-TimeAt Hoverfly Technologies, the Technology Development team operates at the front edge of our product roadmap: evaluating emerging technologies, building prototypes, and proving next-generation unmanned and defense systems in real operational environments. This is not a sustaining role or a narrow PCB position. Unmanned systems, robotics, aerospace, defense, avionics, power electronics, and automotive backgrounds all fit; ownership matters more than direct UAS experience.Relevant experience includes several of the followingHigh-voltage / high-power DC conversion and distributionHigh-speed design i.e. USB, Ethernet, DDR memory, microcontrollers, microprocessors, orFPGAsMixed-signal design or motor controlEmbedded processors, compute modules, and sensor interfacesEMI/EMC troubleshooting; MIL-STD-461 or similar requirementsBoard bring-up, instrumentation, debugging, and failure analysisPackaging, thermal management, ruggedization, and DFM/DFTBasic QualificationsB.S. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related disciplineHands-on development of complex hardware, concept through verificationSchematic capture and PCB tools such as Altium DesignerStrong lab, debugging, instrumentation, and failure analysis skillsMust be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee in accordance with ITAR (22 C.F.R. §120.62)Onsite in Sanford, Florida
