Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. This senior position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through validation and production—while contributing to high-reliability power electronics solutions used in demanding environments such as aerospace, defense, and industrial systems.Job Function:Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test analog and power electronic circuits, including AC-DC and DC-DC conversion systemsGood understanding of DSP based power electronic products, experience in product development / troubleshootingExperience in Digital Vector based control of BLDC motors, MATLAB and Simulink would be an assetPerform component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout activities with attention to EMI, thermal performance, and reliabilityConduct circuit simulation (e.g., SPICE-based tools) and analyze performance under varying electrical and environmental conditionsDevelop and execute validation and qualification test plans, including worst-case analysis and deratingTroubleshoot hardware issues at the board and system level, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assuranceSupport transition from prototype to production, including documentation, test procedures, and manufacturing supportParticipate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processesHeavy interaction with customers to support product development opportunitiesJob Requirement:Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field7–10 years of relevant industry experienceStrong foundation in analog circuit design and power electronicsExperience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium or similar)Experience with lab equipment such as advanced oscilloscopes with optical probes, spectrum analyzers, and power analyzersWorking knowledge of EMI/EMC principles and mitigation techniquesAbility to debug circuits and systems methodically and able to work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience designing high-reliability applications (e.g., aerospace, military, or medical)Familiarity with industry standards such as MIL-STD or IPC guidelinesExperience with thermal analysis and magnetic component selectionExposure to digital control of power converters (e.g., microcontrollers or DSPs)Understanding of isolation techniques and high-voltage design considerationsExperience developing embedded firmware and/or PC-based tools (e.g., C/C++, Python, or C#), including simple GUI applications for test, control, or data visualization
