Location: DubaiAbout the OpportunityWe are supporting an international consultancy with the appointment of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing Dubai team.The role will lead electrical design across complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments throughout the GCC, taking projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC and authority approvals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical design on complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments across the GCCTake projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC documentation and authority approvalsWork directly with clients and take responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of projectsLead and motivate a small Dubai-based and offshore design teamEnsure designs comply with local authority requirements including DEWA, SEWA and Civil DefenceProvide strong technical leadership and deliver high-quality electrical design packagesRequirements12+ years’ experience in electrical design, with strong UAE/GCC consultancy experienceExcellent knowledge of local codes and authority requirements (DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defence)Degree in Electrical EngineeringChartered (or actively working towards Chartered status) – preferredProven ability to lead electrical design and manage commercial/financial project aspectsExceptional communication skills and strong technical capability
