Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe’re looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to develop the robust, reliable electronics behind our next generation of humanoid robots. Your work will directly influence Digit’s design as we scale the platform to meet real-world customer needs.You’ll collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, firmware, systems and manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are safe, reliable and ready for production.What You’ll DoOwn PCB schematic design and oversee PCB layout through to releaseIdentify, select and qualify electrical componentsPrototype, bring up and validate board-level electrical systemsDevelop verification plans, execute testing and document resultsLead designs through cross-functional design reviewsDesign for EMC, testability, manufacturing and assemblyDebug complex hardware and software issues across engineering and productionWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline7+ years of electrical design experienceDeep experience with Altium, including component creation and schematic captureExperience managing internal or external PCB layout resourcesStrong knowledge of embedded controls, microcontrollers and digital designYou’ll thrive here if you enjoy fast-moving environments, evolving requirements and solving complex problems alongside multidisciplinary teams.Bonus ExperienceExperience in any of the following would be highly valuable:Robotics or another complex electromechanical productHigh-capacity lithium batteries and battery-management systemsDC-DC conversion, switching supplies and linear regulatorsLiDAR, radar, cameras or other sensing systemsRF systems, SOMs and antenna designFlex circuits and cable-harness designAnalog sensing, instrumentation, op-amps and ADCsMotors and motor control, particularly BLDC motorsPCB layout, firmware, mechanical or test engineeringThis is an opportunity to own critical electrical systems and help bring commercially deployed humanoid robotics to the next level.
