Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will take ownership of complex hardware throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements definition and design through integration, testing, and qualification. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on technical work, solving challenging problems, and delivering high-performance hardware for demanding applications.What You'll DoDesign and develop analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic hardwarePerform circuit analysis, simulation, component selection, and technical trade studiesDevelop schematics and support PCB layout activitiesDesign, integrate, test, and troubleshoot complex electronic systemsSupport hardware through prototype, qualification, and production phasesCollaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineersParticipate in design reviews, root-cause investigations, and technical decision-making activitiesGenerate engineering documentation, test procedures, and technical reportsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline5-10 years of professional electrical engineering experienceStrong foundation in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and/or power electronics designExperience developing electronic hardware from concept through testing and validationExperience with circuit analysis, simulation, debugging, and troubleshootingExperience with schematic capture, PCB development, and hardware integrationFamiliarity with laboratory test equipment and hardware validation activitiesStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teamsDemonstrated ownership mentality and ability to independently execute technical tasksPreferred QualificationsExperience with aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability electronic systemsExperience designing DC-DC converters, inverters, power distribution systems, or motor control electronicsExperience with FPGA-based or microcontroller-based control systemsExperience with cryogenic electronics or cryocooler control systemsExperience with sensor interfaces, imaging electronics, or signal processing systemsExperience owning hardware through the full lifecycle from requirements through qualificationExperience mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical developmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $140,000 - $200,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability.Performance Bonus: Eligible employees participate in an annual bonus program based on individual contribution and company performance.Healthcare Coverage: Receive a monthly healthcare stipend and choice of multiple company healthcare plans.
