Senior Electrical Manager - Emirati Talent Dubai, UAEAED 40,000 - 43,000+ Family medical insurance and annual bonusKey ResponsibilitiesProvide senior technical leadership for electrical engineering across major real estate projects, from design through construction, commissioning and handover.Act as the client-side electrical lead, working closely with project delivery teams, consultants and contractors.Lead and review electrical designs across concept, tender and IFC stages, ensuring quality, constructability and compliance.Manage and challenge MEP consultants, including their capabilities, resources and technical deliverables.Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements, including DEWA, SEWA, SIRA, ICT/telecom and other relevant authorities.Review tender documents, support consultant appointments and resolve technical issues before tender and award.Provide technical oversight during construction, including shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements and technical deviations.Monitor contractor resources, materials, engineering progress and construction risks to prevent project delays.Conduct site visits and quality reviews while maintaining a primarily client-side technical and design-management role.Oversee testing, commissioning, authority inspections, energisation, approvals and project handover.Ensure NOCs, authority approvals, testing records, as-built documentation and handover requirements are completed on time.Identify and proactively escalate technical, resource, procurement and construction risks to project leadership.Manage multiple projects concurrently and provide senior electrical engineering input throughout the project lifecycle.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university; a master’s degree is advantageous.Professional engineering registration, chartership or recognizedStrong knowledge of UAE electrical regulations, utility and authority requirements, international codes, sustainability principles and safe systems of work.
