Senior Electromechanical Engineer

Since 2012, Khazna has become the leading wholesale data center provider in the Middle East and North Africa, delivering reliable and scalable infrastructure to support the region’s growing digital ecosystem.We are seeking a Senior Electromechanical Engineer to manage and oversee the activities of consultants and contractors to ensure successful delivery of design in alignment with client and employer requirements. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate project objectives, timelines, and technical standards. Develop and provide indicative design solutions that reflect client needs and employer standards to support RFP package preparation. Lead the review and validation of design outputs, technical specifications, and contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with international standards and project goals.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Coordinate design consultants and contractors.Collaborate with internal teams to align project requirements.Prepare indicative designs and employer requirements.Review technical proposals and prepare evaluation reports.Identify and mitigate technical risks.Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.Support RFP preparation and contractor/consultant selection.Review and validate design submissions and deliverables.Approve material submittals and ensure regulatory compliance.Review technical calculations, equipment selections, and system layouts.Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and Khazna standards.Review heat load, CFD, failure scenario, and engineering studies.Update technical standards, conduct feasibility studies, and support team development.QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s preferred.5–7 years of relevant experience in data centers/mission-critical facilities.Strong data center electromechanical design expertise.Experience in design assurance and technical evaluations.Knowledge of engineering standards and regulatory compliance.Strong consultant, contractor, and project coordination skills.Excellent technical problem-solving, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable design principles.
