Location: UAE or remote, with regular travel to UAE and GCC countriesLevel: Senior / Experienced EngineerAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on Electronics & Embedded Systems Engineer to support and further develop sophisticated medical imaging systems.The ideal candidate combines strong practical electronics expertise with experience in National Instruments (NI) hardware and LabVIEW, or comparable embedded control, data-acquisition and automation technologies.The role requires someone who can understand complete systems—from sensors, electronics and control hardware through to software and mechanical components—and independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Experience with CT, CBCT, medical imaging or veterinary equipment is a significant advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot complex electronic, embedded and electromechanical system issues.Work hands-on with NI hardware, LabVIEW and/or comparable control and data-acquisition platforms.Analyse interfaces between sensors, actuators, electronics, control hardware and software.Read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.Support installation, commissioning, upgrades and refurbishment of imaging systems.Perform root-cause analysis and develop sustainable technical solutions.Improve technical documentation and internal engineering knowledge.Support customers, distributors and internal teams remotely and onsite.Contribute to hardware improvements and future R&D activities where required.Required ExperienceDegree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or comparable discipline.Several years of professional experience in electronics, embedded systems, automation, instrumentation or similar complex equipment.Strong practical knowledge of electronic components, circuits and system architecture.Hands-on experience with NI hardware/LabVIEW or comparable embedded control, DAQ, PLC, FPGA, motion-control or automation technologies.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and take technical ownership.Professional English.Willingness to travel within the UAE and GCC region.Strong AdvantagesExperience in any of the following would be particularly valuable:National Instruments hardware and LabVIEWCT / CBCT systemsMedical imaging equipmentVeterinary imaging or veterinary medical technologyNI CompactRIO, DAQ, LabVIEW Real-Time or LabVIEW FPGAComparable platforms for embedded control, test, measurement or automationMotion control, motors, drives and actuator systemsSensor integration and signal conditioningPCB, circuit or electronic hardware designField engineering or technical service of complex equipmentProfileWe are looking for a hands-on engineer rather than a pure software developer or conventional service technician.The right candidate understands electronics in depth, is comfortable working directly on equipment and can bridge:Sensors & Electronics → Control / DAQ Hardware → Software → System ControlStrong NI/LabVIEW experience is highly valuable, but candidates with deep experience in comparable technologies and the ability to quickly transfer their expertise into an NI-based environment should also be considered.
