Their microphones and audio solutions are used in studios, conference rooms and on stage worldwide, and the engineering team designs high-performance electronics that connect people and create remarkable sound experiences.About the roleWe're recruiting a Senior Electronics Development Engineer to take full ownership of the design and integration of complex electronic systems. You'll lead development projects from architecture through simulation, testing and quality assurance, shaping the electronics architecture behind next-generation audio products.You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, run technical reviews and mentor a team of junior and professional electronics engineers. This role suits a hands-on senior hardware engineer who wants technical leadership and genuine influence over complex, high-performance products.Key responsibilitiesTake full ownership of the design and integration of complex electronic systemsLead development projects, including detailed simulations, testing activities and quality assuranceContinuously develop the electronics architecture and optimise system integrationDesign complex multi-layer PCBs with multiple power domains and mixed analogue/digital circuitryCarry out Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) simulation and analysisDrive EMI/EMC and ESD design, pre-compliance and type approval/certification activitiesRun and moderate technical reviews, coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholdersMentor junior and professional electronics engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the teamIdeal profileDegree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related field. Alternatively, a completed vocational qualification of at least 3 years with additional qualifications and extensive relevant experienceExtensive experience developing complex electronic systemsProven experience leading electrical system design, including cross-functional coordination and system integrationHands-on experience with modern PCB design tools, ideally Altium DesignerStrong practical measurement experience with oscilloscopesAbility to translate complex technical requirements into innovative system solutionsStrong leadership, communication and mentoring skillsFluent German (C1 or above) and business-fluent English, written and spokenPreferred qualificationsPractical experience with Power Integrity (PI) and Signal Integrity (SI) simulation (tool agnostic)Experience with EMI/EMC, ESD and type approval or pre-certificationExperience with spectrum analysers and/or audio analysersMeasurement automation experience, e.g. PythonExperience designing with microcontrollers, processors, DSPs or FPGAsExperience in audio, wireless or low-power designExperience optimising hardware development processesAPPLY NOW to discuss further details.5V Tech are acting as an Employment Agency for the purposes of this position.
