Senior Embedded C++ Software Engineer (On-site)

HEPCO is seeking a Senior Embedded C++ Software Engineer for our client. This is a temp-to-permanent position requiring 100% onsite work due to the nature of the program.Analyze, design, develop, and modify complex embedded software, primarily using modern C++.Evaluate complex software designs and identify potential design flaws.Prepare software design documentation in accordance with established processes.Develop within Windows, Unix, and Linux environments.Work with embedded targets ranging from ARM processors to high-performance x86-64 CPUs and GPUs.Integrate and test software within designated target environments.Collaborate with a results-oriented product development team to improve existing products.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline.At least three years of directly related software engineering experience.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearanceProficiency in modern C++ and object-oriented design and development.Experience developing software for real-time embedded hardware systems.Understanding of software requirements, architecture, functional decomposition, subsystem interfaces, and technology analysis.Experience with Windows, Unix, or Linux operating systems.Experience with software engineering processes and source-code control tools.Experience with Eclipse, Jira, DOORS, Git, or Bitbucket.Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.Strong technical communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Motivation to learn, innovate, and continuously improve existing products.Benefits:Health Insurance401k  Pay Range: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)  By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
