Senior Encryption / Onsite Technical Lead

Location: Dammam, Saudi ArabiaEmployment Type: Full-Time | OnsiteProject Duration: Long-term project assignmentAbout The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Encryption / Onsite Technical Lead to lead the technical execution and day-to-day coordination of encryption, Key Management System (KMS), and Hardware Security Module (HSM) activities for a major enterprise cybersecurity project in Dammam.The successful candidate will act as the primary onsite technical lead, coordinating implementation activities with the entity teams, OEMs, project stakeholders, and technical specialists while ensuring quality, documentation, testing, operational readiness, and timely escalation of technical issues.Key ResponsibilitiesLead onsite implementation and operational activities related to encryption, KMS, HSM, and cryptographic security solutionsCoordinate technical activities between the project team, and stakeholders, OEMs, and relevant infrastructure teamsReview and approve technical changes, configurations, implementation plans, and operational proceduresSupervise encryption, key management, and HSM-related activitiesEnsure compliance with approved technical designs, security requirements, and project standardsLead technical testing, integration validation, acceptance activities, and remediation of findingsReview and maintain HLD, LLD, configuration documents, runbooks, test cases, and operational documentationMonitor the quality and progress of technical implementation activities and ensure issues are properly escalated and resolvedCoordinate with database, network, infrastructure, security, SOC, and application teams where requiredProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers working within the encryption and security workstreamsSupport knowledge transfer and transition from implementation to BAU operationsParticipate in technical meetings, status reviews, and project governance activitiesSupport incident investigation and complex technical troubleshootingRequirementsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field7+ years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, encryption, key management, HSM, information security, or related technical environmentsDemonstrated experience leading enterprise security technology implementationsStrong understanding of encryption, KMS, HSM, PKI, cryptographic key lifecycle management, and security operationsExperience coordinating multiple technical teams and working directly with enterprise/government stakeholdersStrong documentation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skillsPrevious experience in Saudi government, regulated, or critical infrastructure environments is highly preferredMust be willing to work full-time onsite in DammamRequired CertificationCISSP or CISMPreferred Certifications & TrainingITIL 4 FoundationThales CipherTrust / Luna technical training or certificationRelevant HSM, encryption, PKI, or security architecture certificationOther recognized cybersecurity professional certificationsCore CompetenciesTechnical Leadership | Encryption | KMS | HSM | PKI | Project Execution | Incident Management | Technical Documentation | Stakeholder Management | OEM Coordination
