The role partners with process owners, subject-matter experts, IT, engineering, and site teams to convert prioritized business needs into secure, reliable, scalable, and maintainable digital solutions that deliver measurable improvements in productivity, process efficiency, operational performance, safety, and user experience.Own end-to-end delivery of assigned automation and digitalization initiatives, including requirements, process mapping, solution design, configuration or development, testing, deployment, handover, and hypercare.Work with process owners and subject-matter experts to identify automation opportunities, define business requirements, confirm success measures, and prioritize solutions based on value, feasibility, risk, and adoption readiness.Design and implement digital solutions using approved RPA, workflow, low-code/no-code, integration, analytics, and related automation platforms in line with enterprise architecture and technical standards.Prepare solution designs, functional and technical specifications, test scenarios, deployment plans, operating procedures, and support documentation required for sustainable operation.Coordinate user acceptance testing, defect resolution, go-live readiness, training inputs, and handover to support teams and business owners.Ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity, data privacy, access control, change management, records management, and relevant IT/OT governance requirements.Integrate solutions with business and operational systems using approved interfaces, APIs, workflows, and data-integration patterns, while protecting data quality and system reliability.Monitor solution performance and benefits after deployment; resolve issues, identify enhancement opportunities, and support sustained adoption and value realization.Manage assigned vendors and technical partners, review deliverables, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with scope, quality, schedule, and technical requirements.Coach engineers and specialists on delivery practices, reusable components, documentation, testing, and technical quality; contribute to automation standards and knowledge sharing.Maintain awareness of emerging automation and digital technologies and recommend practical applications relevant to aluminum operations and support functions.Apply Ma’aden safety requirements and support safe execution whenever work interfaces with plants, operational technology, or production environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Control Systems, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Industrial, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certification in automation, RPA, workflow, low-code platforms, project delivery, or agile delivery is preferred.Minimum Experience:
• 8+ years of relevant experience in automation, digital solutions, systems integration, or industrial digitalization, preferably in mining, metals, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries.
• Demonstrated experience delivering automation or digital solutions through the full lifecycle from business requirements to production deployment and handover.

• Strong understanding of business-process automation, workflow design, RPA, low-code/no-code solutions, and systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, Blue Prism, Nintex, or equivalent tools.

• Working knowledge of APIs, databases, data integration, ETL concepts, identity and access management, and solution monitoring.
