Senior Engineer – Concrete QA/QC

Concrete Future, an independent civil engineering consultancy specializing in concrete investigation, technical consulting, and construction material assessment, is looking for an experienced Saudi Senior Engineer (Concrete QA/QC) to contribute to one of Jeddah's landmark super-tall construction projects!🔍 YOUR ROLE | Key Responsibilities✅ Review concrete mix designs, trial mixes, and raw material compliance with project specifications and ASTM/BS EN standards, including cement, SCMs, silica fume, aggregates, and admixtures.✅ Audit batching plants and monitor concrete pumping, placement, and temperature control during hot-weather conditions.✅ Oversee fresh and hardened concrete testing and coordinate with third-party laboratories.✅ Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.✅ Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and weekly/monthly quality reports.✅ Supervise site inspectors and ensure compliance with quality standards.✅ Act as the technical liaison between contractors, clients, and suppliers.👷‍♂️ WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Saudi nationals only.🎓 Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in concrete materials or structural engineering. A relevant MSc is an advantage, and a Western university degree is preferred.💼 Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 5 years in concrete materials or QA/QC on major structures.📜 Professional Certifications:Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration – Required.ACI certifications (Field Testing Technician Grade I, Strength Testing, or Concrete Quality Technical Manager) – Advantage.Institute of Concrete Technology membership or ISO 9001 auditor training – Advantage.🛠️ TECHNICAL EXPERTISE🔹 High-strength and high-performance concrete (C60+)🔹 Hot-weather concreting (ACI 305)🔹 Thermal control of mass concrete pours (ACI 207)🔹 High-rise concrete pumping and placement🔹 Statistical analysis of concrete testing results🔹 Strong technical reporting and communication skills in English🏢 PREFERRED INDUSTRYProject experience in one or more of the following:High-rise and super-tall construction projects.Major infrastructure and structural engineering projects.Ready-mix concrete suppliers' technical or QC departments.Accredited construction materials laboratories.Specialist concrete engineering consultancies.⭐ Experience with C60+ concrete, high-rise pumping, and mass foundation pours is particularly important. 📍 Project: Jeddah Tower🏗️ Work Arrangement: On-site📅 Working Days: 6 days per week🚗 Valid Saudi driving licence required
