Based in the Special Integrated Logistical Zone (SILZ) in Riyadh, Sapphire is focused on the manufacturing of industrial robots that power the next generation of automation and smart manufacturing.Role SummarySenior Electrical Engineer, Facility Management is responsible for leading the technical integrity and operational reliability of all facility electrical systems, including Switchgear, UPS, Solar PV, BESS, and MDP. This role encompasses contractual auditing, Budget management, maintenance standards enforcement, and long-term asset lifecycle planning. The role holder ensures KPI compliance, validates onsite technical personnel qualifications, maintains critical spare parts inventory, and drives continuous improvement of SOPs and Emergency Operating Procedures across the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Systems OversightServes as the primary lead for the technical integrity and reliability of all facility Electrical systems, including (Switchgear/UPS/Solar PV/BESS, MDP)Inventory Oversight:Responsible for the availability of critical materials and consumables by checking the spare parts inventory and maintaining minimum stock levels at all times to ensure immediate response to technical failuresContract and Budget ManagementActs as the department’s auditor, ensuring 100% accuracy in Contract Management, invoice reconciliation, and the application of penalty clauses based on performance.Technical Personnel ValidationQuality observation of the service provider’s workforce by overseeing and validating the qualifications and technical competencies of all onsite personnel & Systems Specialists.SOP Enhancement:Leads the initiative to review and enhance SOPs and Emergency Operating Procedures to ensure they remain current with facility upgrades and operational requirements.Maintenance StandardsEnforces the use of SFG20 as the industry benchmark for maintenance frequency while ensuring all tasks are performed in strict accordance with the asset-specific O&M Manuals.Strategic Asset ManagementResponsible for long-term lifecycle planning (CAPEX/OPEX), sustainability initiatives, and business continuityKPI Monitoring & Performance AuditingExtract and review daily/weekly performance data from BMS and CAFM systems to verify contractor compliance with contractual KPIs and operational targets.Preventive Maintenance & Compliance OversightAudit contractor PPM schedules against SFG20 requirements and verify that maintenance activities align with approved O&M Manuals to preserve system reliability and warranty compliance.Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree in Facilities Management is an advantage.Professional Certification: Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification is preferred.Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Facilities Management is required.Core CompetenciesElectrical Systems ExpertiseFacilities & Asset ManagementContract & Financial Auditing.Technical Personnel Assessment & ValidationInventory & Spare Parts Management
