This role ensures technical excellence, compliance with industry standards and the efficient execution of MEP activities.Key duties and ResponsibilitiesMEP Design & Technical ReviewDevelop and review technical designs, drawings and specifications for MEP systems.Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry codes and safety regulations.Optimize system designs for energy efficiency and sustainability.Project Execution & CoordinationOversee the installation, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution.Identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain project timelines and quality.Quality Assurance & ComplianceConduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.Ensure MEP systems comply with local regulations, international standards and environmental guidelines.Budgeting & Cost ControlAssist in preparing MEP project budgets and cost estimates.Monitor expenditures and identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality.Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend cost effective solutions.Risk Management & TroubleshootingIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.Troubleshoot MEP system failures and recommend corrective actions.Ensure minimal disruption to operations by addressing system related challenges proactively.Stakeholder & Client CommunicationCollaborate with project managers, architects and contractors to align MEP activities with overall project goals.Provide technical support and guidance to teams during project execution.Communicate with clients to address technical concerns and ensure satisfaction.Team Leadership & DevelopmentMentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge and technical skills.Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation in MEP engineering.Other Tasks and AccountabilitiesPerform additional tasks relevant to the role / area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.Position RequirementsWork ExperienceMinimum 8+ years of experience in a similar role.Educational QualificationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related field.Skills/Behaviour AttributesStrong technical expertise in MEP systems design and coordination.Excellent knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing engineering standardsProven ability to lead MEP project execution and resolve technical challengesStrong collaboration skills for multidisciplinary team coordinationAbility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environmentWhy Work for Us:At Binghatti, we don’t just build properties—we build legacies.
