(Senior) Engineering Manager | AI SaaS | €30 Million Funding | Germany (Remote)Singularity Search has been engaged to appoint an experienced Engineering Manager for a rapidly scaling SaaS leader, renowned for its consistent growth and innovative approach to digitising complex B2B workflows within its industry sector.Their cutting-edge AI-powered platform leverages advanced analytics, machine learning and GenAI to deliver optimised outcomes and data-driven decisions for a fast-expanding network of innovative businesses across Europe.With another substantial round of funding on the horizon, this is a rare opportunity to join a start-up environment that has the backing and stability of an established, profitable business that is investing heavily in AI to power its next phase of growth.In this role, you will lead a team of full-stack and AI/ML engineers while remaining deeply hands-on, spending the majority of your week writing code, reviewing pull requests and shaping architecture.Reporting directly to the Co-Founder/CTO, you’ll own delivery and technical quality for your team’s roadmap, raise the engineering bar, and ship product every week in a TypeScript-first environment.Ultimately, your contributions will shape the future of this industry!Hybrid/Remote: Berlin-based preferred, but can be fully remote across Germany (HQ in Berlin)Salary: Fixed salary is up to €150k + EquityThe role:Lead a team of full-stack and AI/ML engineers through coaching, 1:1s, growth plans and hiring, while shipping product yourself every weekOwn delivery and technical quality of your team’s roadmap, partnering closely with Product to turn ideas into shipped outcomesContribute hands-on across the TypeScript stack (React and Node), from designing features to reviewing pull requests and solving the hardest problemsRaise the team’s technical bar through code reviews, architectural guidance and best practices, including AI-assisted engineering workflowsPartner with engineering leadership on team topology, processes and the technical direction of the platformWho we’re looking for:7+ years building large-scale web applications in TypeScript across frontend and backend, and you still write production TypeScript dailyReal people leadership experience as an Engineering Manager, or as a team lead or senior tech lead with direct reports, 1:1s, mentoring and performance conversationsTechnical ability comparable to a principal engineer, with strong expertise in TypeScript, React and Node.jsGenuine desire to keep coding, with 60-80% hands-on work being a core attraction of the roleExperience in a high-growth start-up or scale-up environment, with excellent English communication across engineering, product and leadershipSingularity Search | Where Intelligence Converges®
