Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob PurposeTo oversee the end-to-end operation of enrollment technology and registration systems, ensuring consistent system performance, data accuracy, and compliant reportingJob DescriptionServe as the primary functional point of contact between enrolment operations and HBKU IT to ensure alignment of system requirements, functionality, and operational prioritiesOversee the operational administration of enrolment and registration systems, including Banner, Course Leaf modules, ARGOS reporting, CRM, Evaluation Kit, and Scheduling systems, ensuring consistent system performance and reliabilityLiaise with HBKU IT, as required, to support system configuration, issue resolution, and system upgradesEnsure effective system integration, configuration, and functionality across enrolment and registration platforms in line with approved operational requirementsMonitor system performance, identify operational issues, and exercise independent judgment in resolving complex system-related challenges in coordination with HBKU ITLead the functional execution of system updates, upgrades, and implementations, ensuring alignment with approved processes and operational needsAct as a core functional contributor in Student Information System (SIS) initiatives, overseeing testing, data validation, and implementation readinessIdentify and recommend technology enhancements and system improvements to improve operational efficiency, for management review and approval by managementEnsure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of enrolment and registration data across all systemsDevelop, maintain, and validate standard operational and management-level reports and dashboards to support enrolment activities and institutional reportingProvide training and support to staff on system functionalities and best practicesAct as the subject matter expert for enrolment-related technologies, providing authoritative guidance, functional training, and best practice direction to system usersWork closely with academic departments and administrative units to resolve enrolment system issues, streamline processes, and enhance overall user experienceOther reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisorMinimum Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field6-8 years of experience in higher education, preferably within Academic Support function, with at least 2 years’ experience working with Student Information Systems (SIS)Working knowledge of databases, reporting tools, and scripting used for SIS reporting and automation (e.g., SQL and reporting tools). Experience with web-based systems and ARGOS reporting is preferredDemonstrated experience in project planning and execution, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, develop reports, and provide insights that support operational and management decision-making. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools is an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft and edit reports and articulate ideas clearly and concisely. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantageExperience in delivering functional training and user guidance on technology systems and processesStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and operational requirements, and to recommend practical solutions that enhance efficiency and effectivenessAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT and academic departments, to address operational challenges and improve system performanceProficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
