Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe Senior Enterprise Architect will drive Zand Bank’s strategic evolution by defining, maintaining, and evolving the enterprise architecture to deliver key business outcomes, accelerate technology innovation, and enable seamless integration across platforms and processes. This role will also be pivotal in shaping and advancing the organization’s enterprise-scale AI strategy, by integrating AI capabilities into the architectural vision and technology roadmap. As the pivotal orchestrator between business strategy and technical execution, the Enterprise Architect fosters collaboration, governance, and continuous improvement to advance Zand’s growth and digital transformation.Key ResponsibilitiesShape Architectural and AI Vision: Develop, maintain, and communicate the architectural and AI vision, principles, standards, and reference models supporting a digital-first, AI-enabled organization.Deliver Blueprints: Create architectural blueprints and target state architectures across data, application, technology, and security domains.Governance & Compliance: Lead architectural governance, evaluating and guiding major technology initiatives for strategic alignment and compliance.Technology Scouting: Assess emerging technologies, , including AI/ML advances, trends, and regulatory changes; recommend adoption and integration where valuable.Business & IT Bridge: Serve as the strategic interface between IT and business, translating strategy and requirements into effective architectures that optimize value and manage risk.AI Roadmap Leadership: Develop and continuously evolve an AI roadmap in alignment with business goals—identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions, prioritize AI initiatives, and ensure robust data, ethics, and governance practices are in place for responsible AI adoption and scaling.Champion AI Adoption: Guide the integration of AI technologies into business processes and digital platforms, enabling automation, predictive analytics, and improved customer experiences.Project Oversight: Provide architectural oversight to priority programs, including AI related initatives, ensuring designs comply with enterprise standards and security requirements.Collaborative Delivery: Partner with solution architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end architecture.Technology Transformation: Lead the target-state architecture for digital banking, cloud migration, advanced analytics, and enterprise AI/ML platforms and modern delivery models.Legacy Modernization: Champion modernization and migration initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximizing value.Risk & Security: Ensure architecture meets all regulatory, security, and privacy standards; proactively assess and remediate architectural risks, including those emerging from AI implementations.Key Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceQualifications & CertificationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CISSP, AI/ML or Data Science certifications (preferred)or equivalent certifications.Familiarity with relevant frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, etc.).Experience10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, preferably in banking, financial services, or digital organizations.Track record of leading architecture for major digital transformations, cloud initiatives, AI/ML use cases, and technology modernization.Technical & Professional SkillsDeep knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, SABSA), with experience in capability modeling, solution roadmaps, and reference architectures.Proficiency across multiple domains: applications, data, infrastructure, security.Experience designing/architecting AI-powered solutions (e.g., machine learning workflows, generative models, NLP, automation), and familiarity with enterprise AI/ML platforms and tools.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, API management, event-driven architectures, DevOps, and Agile delivery.Understanding of core banking systems, digital ecosystems, and the financial regulatory environment.Proven ability to align enterprise stakeholders, influence business-technology roadmaps, and drive change in complex environments.
