At Majid Al Futtaim, operational excellence is achieved through continuous improvement and the pursuit of greater efficiency across teams, functions, and businesses.The Senior Enterprise Architect will lead architecture initiatives within the Customer Experience domain, driving strategic enterprise-wide programs and promoting enterprise architecture best practices across multiple business and technology domains.The role is responsible for shaping and governing enterprise architecture deliverables, frameworks, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology strategies. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Senior Enterprise Architect will support the development of architecture blueprints, reference architectures, standards, and solution frameworks across business, information, application, and technology domains.Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture LeadershipOwn and maintain the Customer Experience Enterprise Architecture across the Group, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.Define and govern architecture standards, principles, guidelines, reference architectures, and solution patterns.Develop current-state and future-state architecture roadmaps to support business transformation and growth.Ensure ongoing alignment between implemented solutions and the target enterprise architecture.Strategic Advisory & Solution OversightAssess existing business platforms and technologies, including customer channels, CRM, DAM, CMS, eCommerce platforms, HR systems, and enterprise applications.Evaluate and recommend technology solutions based on business requirements, cost, contractual obligations, ongoing initiatives, risks, and long-term strategic objectives.Translate business capabilities and strategic priorities into scalable technology architectures and transformation roadmaps.Provide architectural leadership and advisory support to application architects, project teams, and technology partners.Architecture Governance & Portfolio ManagementLead architecture reviews to ensure consistency, scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.Identify technology gaps, technical debt, aging platforms, and opportunities for modernization.Support Demand Review Boards and Change Advisory Boards by assessing architecture implications, risks, and opportunities.Partner with PMO teams to ensure successful execution of strategic architecture initiatives.Application Portfolio RationalizationLead application portfolio assessment and rationalization initiatives across the organization.Identify consolidation, optimization, modernization, and cost-reduction opportunities.Develop and oversee rationalization roadmaps, tracking progress, benefits realization, and business outcomes.Enterprise Transformation & InnovationDrive large-scale enterprise transformation programs, including customer experience and business system modernization initiatives.Analyze business models, operating models, market trends, and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities.Promote the value of Enterprise Architecture as a key enabler of business strategy, innovation, and operational excellence.Develop communication, adoption, and stakeholder engagement plans to increase architecture maturity across the organization.Reporting & Performance ManagementSupport architecture practice governance and performance reporting.Prepare architecture dashboards, KPIs, roadmap updates, and executive-level reports.Functional & Technical CompetenciesStrong expertise in Customer Experience architecture, including CRM, Loyalty, Digital Channels, CMS, DAM, eCommerce, and customer engagement platforms.Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation and modernization programs.Proven track record in Application Portfolio Rationalization across complex enterprise environments.Strong understanding of enterprise architecture disciplines, including Business, Application, Data, Information, Integration, and Technology Architecture.Experience developing enterprise roadmaps, target architectures, reference architectures, and governance frameworks.Strong knowledge of business operating models, financial analysis, investment planning, risk assessment, and technology strategy.Ability to balance strategic, long-term architecture objectives with immediate business and delivery needs.Deep understanding of digital trends, emerging technologies, and enterprise transformation practices.Experience working within demand management, change management, and SDLC governance processes.Technical SkillsDeep expertise in Customer Experience, Enterprise Systems, or Data & Integration Architecture.Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.Experience in business process analysis, design, optimization, and transformation.Knowledge of Agile, Lean, IT Service Management, EA governance, and ITIL frameworks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to decision-making.Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to influence senior business and technology leaders and drive organizational change.Experience10+ years of experience across multiple architecture disciplines, including Business, Application, Information, Solution, or Technology Architecture.8+ years of experience leading large-scale enterprise architecture and transformation initiatives.Proven experience within Customer Experience ecosystems such as CRM, Loyalty, Digital Commerce, Customer Channels, or CMS platforms.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information
