Our mission is to give clients relevant, actionable market intelligence so that our partners can reach their sustainability goals in an informed and intelligent way.About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Environmental Markets Analyst to join our Singapore team. As a key member of the Business team, you will lead the analysis of market trends and data across biofuels, feedstock, white certificates and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), shape new commercial strategies for the Singapore entity, and act as the analytical reference for our sales desk in the region.Key responsibilitiesIdentify and assess business opportunities for OTC Flow in the APAC biofuels and feedstock markets (e.g. HVO, SAF, biodiesel, waste-based feedstocks such as UCO) and in environmental certificate markets, including Australian white certificates (VEECs) and RECsBuild and drive the business action plan for OTC Flow SingaporeAnalyse pricing, regulatory and supply-demand fundamentals, and produce forward-looking market viewsDevelop and maintain market models, dashboards and pricing toolsMonitor regulatory developments (mandates, certification schemes, sustainability criteria) and assess their impact on our markets and clientsConduct market benchmarks and competitive analysisProduce regular market reports, client-facing notes and internal presentationsProvide technical and analytical support to the sales team, including during client meetingsWork closely with our teams in Paris and Amsterdam to share insights and align strategy across regionsContribute to process optimisation and workflow improvementsAbout youDegree in finance, economics, engineering or a related field; a dual background in engineering and finance is a strong plus5+ years of experience in environmental commodities, energy markets, biofuels trading or consulting, or energy efficiencySolid understanding of at least one of the following: biofuel and feedstock markets, white certificate schemes, or REC / Guarantee of Origin marketsStrong analytical skills and proven ability to work with complex datasetsAdvanced proficiency in Power BI and data modelling; strong command of Python and/or RExcellent communication and writing skills in English, with the ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for clients and managementAn established network in the APAC energy transition space is a plusAdditional Asian languages are an advantageWhat we offerCompetitive compensation packageA fast-growing, international environment where every day brings new challenges and learning opportunitiesReal scope to shape the development of our Singapore businessStrong career progression opportunitiesNext stepsSend us your application along with your CVWe'll get to know you better through an initial screening interviewYou'll then be invited to an interview with the hiring manager
