Senior Equity Analyst – Global Dividend Fund

Octavius Finance is working with a leading UK investment manager to appoint a senior equity analyst to join a well-established Global Dividend Fund.The strategy invests globally across equities, seeking to identify high-quality companies capable of generating sustainable and growing dividends over the long term. The portfolio is genuinely global, with exposure across the US, Europe and Emerging Markets, providing the successful candidate with broad exposure across sectors, geographies and investment themes.The successful candidate will work closely with the senior investment team across fundamental equity research, company analysis and portfolio construction. This is an opportunity to join an established investment platform with a strong long-term track record and a clear focus on fundamental, bottom-up research. For the successful candidate, the position also offers a clearly defined pathway to leadership and money management.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct fundamental equity research across global markets and sectorsIdentify companies with attractive and sustainable dividend characteristicsBuild detailed financial models and valuation analysisAssess company fundamentals, management quality, capital allocation and dividend sustainabilityDevelop and maintain investment views and contribute to the portfolio's investment processEngage with company management teams and external research providersContribute to portfolio construction and ongoing monitoring of existing holdingsWork collaboratively with the wider investment team across global equity marketsCandidate Profile~5 years+ experience as an equity analyst at a long-only asset manager, working on an equity income or dividend-focused strategyStrong fundamental research and financial modelling skillsExperience covering global equities, ideally with exposure across multiple sectors and/or regionsGenuine interest in dividend investing and long-term fundamental equity analysisStrong academic background and ideally CFA qualification or progress towards itClear communicator with the ability to articulate investment views effectivelyComfortable working as part of a collaborative, research-led investment teamTo apply, please send your CV to fundmanagement@octaviusfinance.com
