Senior ERP Specialist – Epicor & Technical Support

Job PurposeThe Senior ERP Specialist administers, supports, maintains, and improves Epicor ERP. The role resolves technical and functional issues, manages integrations and databases, and ensures reliable operations across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesEpicor ERPManage and support the Epicor ERP system, including configuration, workflows, modules, and user access.Provide day to day technical and functional support to ERP users.Troubleshoot and resolve Epicor application, transaction, and integration issues.Support modules such as Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, Finance and other Departments if applicableConfigure screens, dashboards, reports, workflows, and business processes.Manage Epicor upgrades, patches, testing, and system enhancements.Coordinate with Epicor consultants/vendors.Technical SupportProvide technical support for desktops, applications, network connectivity, printers, and other IT systems when required.Diagnose hardware, software, database, and application-related issues.Monitor system performance and ensure business-critical applications remain operational.Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and application security.Maintain IT/ERP documentation, SOPs, and technical support records.Database, Reporting & IntegrationDevelop and maintain queries, reports, dashboards, and data extracts.Support integrations between Epicor and other business applications.Investigate data inconsistencies and ensure ERP data integrity.Assist in automation and process improvement initiatives.User & Business SupportUnderstand business requirements and translate them into ERP solutions.Conduct ERP training and provide user guidance.Support new ERP users during onboarding.Identify process gaps and recommend system improvements.Lead or participate in ERP implementation and improvement projects.Maintain documentation and training materials.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.5–8 years of experience in ERP administration, ERP Implementation, Technical/ functional Support.Strong hands-on experience with Epicor ERP is mandatory.Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SQL queries, reporting, and databases.Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, and third-party applications is preferred.Good understanding of Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Warehouse, Finance, and operational business processes.Experience in troubleshooting ERP application and technical issues.Experience coordinating with ERP vendors and external IT service providers.Key SkillsEpicor ERP Administration & SupportERP Technical & Functional TroubleshootingDatabase ManagementERP Reporting & DashboardsSystem Integration & APIsUser Access & SecurityIT Technical SupportBusiness Process AnalysisERP Implementation & UpgradesVendor ManagementProblem Solving & Root Cause Analysis
