Our work spans strategic events, exhibitions and experiential marketing campaigns delivered across international markets.Job PurposeThe Senior Event Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of client events, exhibitions and experiential projects from brief through to completion.Working closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams, the role will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring exceptional delivery, strong client relationships and effective project management throughout the event lifecycle.This is a hands-on, client-facing position requiring strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced agency environment.The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to clients whilst supporting the wider Events & Exhibitions team through collaboration, knowledge sharing and delivery excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of multiple events, exhibitions, and experiential projects from initial brief through to successful completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle and managing stakeholder expectations effectivelyTranslate client objectives into innovative event solutions and delivery plans that achieve agreed business outcomesDevelop and manage project timelines, critical paths, governance documentation, and reporting to ensure effective project controlCoordinate internal teams, suppliers, venues, and external partners to ensure seamless project executionOversee all event logistics, including venue management, accommodation, travel, production, and operational requirementsLead onsite event and exhibition delivery in the UK and internationally, ensuring exceptional client and attendee experiencesIdentify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, implementing appropriate mitigation strategiesCreate, manage, and reconcile project budgets, ensuring strong financial control and alignment with commercial objectivesMonitor project profitability, forecasting, and financial performance, proactively identifying risks, efficiencies, and cost-saving opportunitiesSource, negotiate, brief, and manage suppliers and event partners, ensuring quality delivery, compliance, and value for moneyEnsure supplier contracts, quotations, insurance, risk assessments, and compliance documentation are secured and maintained as requiredSupport resource planning across projects, including freelancer engagement, workload balancing, and capacity managementMentor and support Event Executives and junior team members, sharing best practices and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team cultureContribute to new business activity through proposal development, costings, pitch support, and identifying opportunities for account growthDrive operational excellence by ensuring compliance with company processes, health and safety requirements, sustainability initiatives, project close-out activities, and continuous improvement practicesOther responsibilities as neededEssential Skills 5+ years' experience within an events agency, exhibitions or experiential environmentProven experience delivering events from concept through to completionStrong client relationship management skillsExperience managing event budgets and project financesExcellent organisational and project management capabilitiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with wider teamsStrong Microsoft Office skills. DesirableDesirable Skills Experience delivering international events and exhibitionsExperience within B2B technology, healthcare or corporate eventsExperience using Procim, Smartsheet or similar project management systemsExperience supporting new business proposals and pitchesKnowledge of health & safety and event compliance requirementsAdditional InformationSalary: £45,000Hours: 37.5 hours per week
