More information about Berman Group can be found at: www.bermangrp.com.Job OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Senior Events Manager to join our Events team and play a key role in planning and executing events and programs for premier real estate firms, leading real estate associations, and other marquee clients.Working closely with Berman Group’s senior leadership and Events team, the Senior Events Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse portfolio of client events and association programs. We are looking for an experienced events professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The ideal candidate has significant hands-on event experience and can confidently manage an event from initial concept through execution and post-event wrap-up. Experience working within the real estate industry, professional associations, membership organizations, or related industries is highly valued.This is a New York City-based position that requires regular in-person work at our Manhattan office as part of our hybrid schedule. Given the nature of events, candidates must also be available for commitments that may take place outside of standard office hours, which will be communicated in advance.Your Responsibilities IncludeManage the planning and execution of events for real estate-focused clients, including leading real estate associations and membership organizations.Oversee the day-to-day coordination of a diverse portfolio of events, including galas, fundraisers, conferences, networking events, panel discussions, receptions, industry programs, and virtual events.Manage events from concept through completion, including planning, production, logistics, timelines, run-of-show development, vendor coordination, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.Serve as a key day-to-day point of contact for clients, association stakeholders, vendors, venues, and event partners.Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, production schedules, and other critical planning documents.Coordinate contracts and logistics with venues, caterers, audiovisual teams, production partners, entertainment, and other vendors and service providers.Collaborate closely with Berman Group’s internal teams, including Public Relations and Design Studio, to ensure events are supported by cohesive communications, creative materials, and promotional strategies.Coordinate the development of event invitations, e-blasts, newsletters, advertisements, signage, presentations, and other event and association materials.Support the day-to-day operations and programming of real estate associations, including meetings, member programs, communications, sponsorship initiatives, and special events.Prepare meeting agendas, maintain records and project trackers, coordinate follow-up items, and help ensure client and internal teams remain aligned on deadlines and deliverables.Identify creative opportunities to enhance event programming, guest experiences, and experiential activations.Track event performance, including attendance, engagement, and client feedback, and support post-event evaluations and reporting.Work collaboratively with junior Events team members, providing direction and support on assigned projects while helping maintain high standards across client work.Anticipate challenges, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions before and during events to ensure successful execution.Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in event management, production, or a related field.Proven experience independently managing complex events from concept through execution.Experience in real estate, professional associations, or membership organizations strongly preferred.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients, events, and deadlines simultaneously.Creative, proactive, and resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent client-facing communication, relationship management, and writing skills.Collaborative team player with experience providing direction and support to junior team members.
