The role is responsible for providing timely and accurate financial insights, monitoring business performance against budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial compliance, and driving process automation initiatives to improve efficiency and decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & BudgetingSupport the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Analyze variances between actual performance, budgets, and forecasts, and provide actionable insights.Assist business stakeholders in financial planning, budgeting, and cost management activities.Monitor key financial performance indicators and highlight risks and opportunities.Financial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare management reports, MIS dashboards, and financial performance summaries.Ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful reporting for internal stakeholders.Conduct financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.Provide insights on profitability, revenue trends, and cost optimization opportunities.Business Performance MonitoringReview budget utilization and identify potential deviations well in advance.Support corrective actions through robust financial analysis and recommendations.Track financial outcomes against business objectives and assist leadership in performance reviews.Compliance & ControlsEnsure adherence to financial policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.Support audit activities and ensure timely closure of audit observations.Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.Process Improvement & AutomationParticipate in finance process improvement and automation initiatives.Assist in enhancing reporting systems, dashboards, and analytical tools.Support digital transformation efforts within the finance function.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide business support.Build effective working relationships with business leaders and finance teams.Communicate financial insights clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely completion of budgets and forecasts.Accuracy and quality of management reporting.Variance analysis and actionable recommendations.Compliance with audit and internal control requirements.Contribution to finance process improvement and automation initiatives.Stakeholder satisfaction and responsiveness.Required CompetenciesFunctional CompetenciesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Budgeting and ForecastingManagement ReportingFinancial Modeling and Variance AnalysisCost ManagementBusiness Performance MonitoringInternal Controls and ComplianceBehavioral CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to understand the broader business perspectiveSelf-driven with a strong sense of ownershipAbility to work under pressure during month-end closing, budgeting, and audit cyclesProactive and solution-oriented mindsetStrong collaboration and stakeholder management skillsEducational Qualifications MandatoryPostgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline.PreferredCA (Inter), CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification.Technical Skills PreferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Financial Models, Dashboards)Advanced PowerPoint presentation skillsKnowledge of SAP and accounting systemsExperience with MIS reporting and business analytics toolsExposure to automation tools such as Power BI, Power Query, or similar platformsExperience Required3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Management Reporting, or Financial Analysis.PreferredExperience in service, education, technology, or consulting industries.Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and audit/compliance processes.
