Level: Senior ExecutiveReporting to: Deputy ManagerLocation: GurgaonAbout the RoleKey Success Factors for the RoleBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field with 2–3 years ofexperience in revenue accounting, preferably in the hotel, hospitality, travel, or serviceindustry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition, financial reporting,budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Microsoft Excel, and SQL, with the abilityto analyze financial data and generate meaningful insights.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with strongattention to detail, follow-up abilities, and the capability to prioritize tasks and meetdeadlines in a fast-paced environment.Qualification & ExperienceWhat will you be doingRevenue Recognition: Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance withInternational Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS) and industry-specific accountingregulations. Review contracts, commercial agreements, and bookings to ensure revenueis recorded correctly and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits by preparing and providingfinancial data, supporting documentation, and explanations related to revenuetransactions. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, andstatutory requirements.Systems & Process Management: Utilize accounting systems and ERP platforms tomanage revenue-related data, perform reconciliations, and generate financial reports.Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhancethe efficiency of revenue accounting operations.Financial Analysis: Analyze revenue trends, profitability, and financial performance toidentify risks, cost optimization opportunities, and revenue enhancement initiatives.Present actionable insights and recommendations to management to support informeddecision-making.GST Invoice Management: Coordinate with hotel partners and internal stakeholders toensure timely receipt of GST invoices and supporting documentation. Verify invoiceaccuracy, including GST classification, applicable tax rates, and compliance withstatutory regulations.Documentation & Record Management: Maintain accurate and well-organized recordsof GST invoices, receipts, reconciliations, and related documentation. Ensure records areretained in accordance with statutory requirements and are readily available for auditsand compliance reviews.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners,vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and timelyresolution of GST- and revenue-related queries or discrepancies.Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and insightful revenue reports formanagement, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, ensuring adherence to reportingtimelines and compliance standards.The Finance Executive (Revenue Accountant – Hotels) is responsible for ensuring accuraterevenue accounting and financial reporting for the Hotels business.
