Senior Executive, Finance

Job PurposeThe Senior Executive, Finance is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions of the subsidiary of the company. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, sound cash flow management, and full compliance with statutory requirements to support operational efficiency and strategic decision making.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accountsMaintain full set of accounts in compliance with MFRS and statutory requirementsOversee manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and production cost controlManage cash flow planning and financial analysisSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisCoordinate year-end closing and statutory audit processesEnsure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations and reporting requirementsJob Responsibilities1) Financial Reporting & AccountingManage ful set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial reports, journal entries, and supporting schedulesMonitor inventory accounting and manufacturing cost analysisLiaise with auditors and ensure timely year end closing2) Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementPrepare cash flow projections and monitor liquidityManage payments, fund transfers, and banking mattersLiaise with banks on financing documentation and facilities3) Budgeting & Financial AnalysisAssist in annual budgets and periodic forecastsPerform variance analysis and provide financial insights to ManagementSupport cost control initiatives and operational performance review4) Taxation & ComplianceEnsure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016, and Malaysian tax regulationsLiaise with tax agents on tax estimates, revisions, and statutory submissions5) Ad-Hoc & Cross Functional SupportSupport Management with financial analysis and reportingCollaborate with operations and production teamsUndertake additional finance related assignments as requiredJob RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalentProfessional certification (ACCA, CPA, or MIA) is an added advantageSound knowledge of MFRS and Malaysian statutory requirementsMinimum 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in manufacturingProven experience in independently managing full set of accountsStrong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and production cost analysisExperience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementFamiliarity with Malaysian tax regulations, SST compliance, and corporate reporting requirementsProficient in accounting systems (Autocount & Sage) and Microsoft OfficeStrong analytic, organizational, and problem solving skillsHigh level of integrity, accountability, and ability to work independently under deadlines
