The role will partner closely with business leaders, employees, and HR teams to drive people strategy, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, HR operations, and employee life cycle processes. The incumbent will play a key role in strengthening employee-manager relationships, improving morale, supporting productivity and retention, and ensuring timely execution of HR processes in alignment with FAI HR practices.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business PartneringPartner with business leaders and employees to understand people priorities and support execution of HR initiatives aligned with business needs.Provide HR advisory support on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, talent development, and HR policy matters.Support business units across locations through employee connects, communication forums, focus group discussions, skip-level meetings, and one-on-one employee interactions.Employee Relations and EngagementPromote a positive employer-employee relationship by addressing employee concerns, supporting grievance resolution, and recommending appropriate employee relations practices.Drive employee engagement activities to improve employee experience, morale, productivity, and retention.Support employee communication through company meetings, feedback mechanisms, surveys, newsletters, and engagement forums.Onboarding Support.Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth joining experience for new employees.Maintain and coordinate employee documentation related to joining, internal movements, and exits.Employee Life Cycle ManagementEnsure timely closure of employee life cycle processes such as recruitment coordination, transfers, leave requests, promotions, performance management activities, salary revisions, and exits.Work closely with employees, managers, and internal HR teams to ensure process compliance and timely updates in HR systems.Performance Management and Talent DevelopmentSupport the performance management cycle by coordinating with managers and employees, tracking timelines, and ensuring completion of required process steps.Assess training and development needs in coordination with business stakeholders and support execution of learning initiatives as per schedule.HR Operations, Reporting and AnalyticsMaintain employee-related databases and HR records with accuracy and confidentiality.Prepare, analyze, and publish periodic HR reports and dashboards required for management review and decision-making.Use HR systems, preferably Workday, along with Office 365 tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint for HR operations and reporting.Required Skills and KnowledgeStrong understanding of HR business partnering, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations.Working knowledge of HR systems, preferably Workday.Good knowledge of MS Office / Office 365 tools, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Ability to prepare HR reports, analyze data, and present insights to stakeholders.Basic knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.Understanding of statistical techniques and HR analytics will be preferred.Knowledge of GRI standards and CSR implementation will be an added advantage.Preferred Candidate ProfileMBA / postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or equivalent specialization.5 to 8 years of relevant experience in HRBP, HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or HR Operations roles.Experience supporting business teams across multiple locations or functions.Immediate joiners or candidates with a shorter notice period will be preferred.
