This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Maldives, responsible for managing and overseeing the vehicle maintenance workshop and ensuring the efficient servicing, repair, and maintenance of the company’s vehicles. This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of the company’s vehicle fleet to ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling routine services, coordinating with garages and suppliers, monitoring vehicle performance, managing maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Senior Executive will also track maintenance budgets, recommend improvements to fleet operations, and work closely with operations and logistics teams to minimize downtime and support business continuity.QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field from a reputed institute.Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably managing a vehicle maintenance workshop.Proven experience managing a vehicle maintenance workshop at a reputed organization.Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing European vehicle brands is a must.Strong knowledge of European vehicle repair, servicing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate workshop staff.Ability to manage budgets, resources, spare parts, and workshop operations effectively.Proficiency in maintenance management software and related tools.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Previous working experience at a reputed vehicle dealership in Sri Lanka will be a definite advantage.
