About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive to join our Finance team at Jumeirah Emirates TowersThe main duties and responsibilities of this role include: Perform complex reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet accounts, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly to maintain financial accuracy.Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and variance analysis, providing insights to management for decision-making and ensuring compliance with reporting timelines.Ensure accurate posting of journals and adjustments in the financial system, verifying supporting documentation and adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.Support cost control activities by monitoring expense allocations, analysing variances, and recommending corrective actions to maintain budget compliance.Process supplier payments and verify supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely execution of transactions.Maintain organized filing systems for financial records, both digital and physical, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with record-keeping standards.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: UAE National with a Family Book as per government requirements3+ years of finance and accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or a similar service-oriented industry.Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations, month-end processes, reporting, budgeting, and compliance requirements.Experience working with internal and external auditors, ensuring adherence to financial controls, policies, and regulatory standards.Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
