Senior Executive Officer

SENIOR EXECUTIVE OFFICER- PAYMENTS- DUBAI:We are partnering exclusively with one of the fastest growing FinTech businesses in the MENA region!The business are looking to appoint a Senior Executive Officer to lead through licensing, launch and subsequent growth.

About the Role

Hold overall executive responsibility for the regulated DIFC entity, reporting directly to the BoardLead the business through DFSA authorisation, controlled launch and early-stage growthAct as a key senior point of contact with the DFSAExecute the company's business plan and oversee day-to-day commercial and operational performanceBuild and lead the initial UAE leadership team as the business scalesOversee governance, compliance, AML, risk, capital, liquidity and operational controlsManage key external relationships including banking, payment, card scheme, processing and technology partnersEstablish a strong culture balancing commercial growth, regulatory compliance and customer protection.Role Requirements:Significant senior leadership experience within payments, FinTech, e-money, banking or regulated financial servicesPrevious CEO, Managing Director, General Manager, Country Head or equivalent experience with P&L responsibilityStrong experience working directly with DFSA, CBUAE, SAMA, FSRA or another comparable financial regulatorRegulatory authorisation/licensing and regulated business launch experience highly desirableStrong understanding of governance, AML, risk, compliance and prudential requirementsExperience across cards, issuing, acquiring, payment accounts, processing, safeguarding or money services.Comfortable operating hands-on within an early-stage environment and building teams/functions from the ground up.Additional Information:Salary: 50,000 AED – 80,000 AED per month + a a 10% performance related bonus.

Location: Dubai, 5 days per week in the office.
