About The RoleThe Senior Asset & Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations of the company and its client’s real estate assets and facilities. This role ensures properties are maintained at high standards, capital improvements are executed efficiently, vendor performance is optimized, and facilities-related costs are controlled. The position requires a proactive leader who can manage both people and physical assets across a portfolio of commercial properties and service locations. With us, you’ll develop your strengths and enjoy a career full of varied experiences.Candidates must be well-versed in all major building systems (including HVAC, roof, mechanical, electrical, elevator) and have an understanding of different construction methodologies and procedures. Ideal candidates will have good asset and facilities management experience and the ability to manage a large portfolio of commercial assets utilizing their existing team in addition to third-party contractors/vendors. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering extremely helpful. Minimum 10+ years' experience with asset/facilities management required.Role and Responsibilities Work with existing and develop new systems for asset management functions, including capital planning, budgeting, and preventive maintenance.Maintain updated property condition assessments and preventive maintenance plans.Monitor property performance and operating costs looking for opportunities to increase NOI. Track and report to senior leadership.Oversee negotiations on contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreementsOversee the determination of needed resources for facilities and maintenance (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitationsOversee facilities managers, and work with project managers, estimators and superintendents on developing project budgets and value engineering on the company/client assetsOverseeing adherence to all health and safety standards by personnel and report issuesQualifications and Education Requirements Minimum 10+ years' experience with asset/facilities management requiredDiversity of experience with different property types is ideal (office, industrial, retail)Bachelor's degree in building construction, building science, architecture, or engineering preferred.In-depth understanding of building systems and maintenance best practices.Experience managing vendors, contracts and maintenance teamsProficiency with CMMS systems (Yardi, FMX, etc.)Knowledge of MS Office (Excel)Outstanding communication and negotiation skillsWillingness to travel (2-5 days/month)Excellent organizational and time-management skillsIntegrity and accountability with a strong desire to grow and expandA team player with leadership abilitiesBi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
