Through our nationwide network of nonprofit agencies and partnerships with government and commercial customers, we help thousands of people build meaningful careers while delivering valuable products and services across the country.Why join us?Competitive CompensationMission-Driven Organization Making a Meaningful ImpactLeadership Opportunity Managing Facilities Across Multiple LocationsOversee an 88,000-Square-Foot Headquarters FacilityComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits401(k) with Company MatchCompany-Paid Life and Disability InsuranceGenerous PTO, Sick Time & Paid HolidaysTuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramStable, Established Organization with National PresenceDirect Exposure to Executive LeadershipOpportunity to Overlap with Retiring Senior Facilities Leader for Knowledge TransferJob DetailsKey Responsibilities and DutiesLead all maintenance, safety, security, and day-to-day facilities operations.Oversee an 88,000-square-foot corporate headquarters facility.Manage facilities operations for both owned and leased properties.Monitor commercial leases and manage lease renewals, extensions, and negotiations.Partner with real estate brokers on lease strategy and facility needs.Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs.Manage facilities budgets, operating expenses, and capital improvement projects.Lead vendor, landlord, contractor, and service-provider relationships.Ensure vendor accountability and contractual compliance.Supervise facilities staff and third-party contractors.Conduct building and grounds inspections.Prioritize maintenance projects and facility improvements.Maintain facility records, project documentation, and vendor performance tracking.Support office moves, expansions, and facility-related projects.Coordinate facilities operations for remote office locations in Texas, Illinois, and Georgia.Travel occasionally for special projects and facility needs.Collaborate with leadership and departments across a 400+ employee organization.Qualifications Needed:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.Minimum 10+ years of facilities management, property management, workplace operations, or related experience.Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience managing employees, vendors, contractors, or facilities teams.Strong experience overseeing owned and leased commercial properties.Experience managing commercial lease renewals, extensions, and landlord relationships.Strong background in facilities budgeting, operating expenses, and capital expenditure planning.Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and building operations.Proven ability to supervise staff, contractors, and vendors.Strong experience leading facilities projects, repairs, renovations, and workplace improvements.Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance programs, and facility operations.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require.Highly Preferred:Building Engineering background.Facilities Management certification (FMP, CFM, IFMA, BOMA, etc.).MBA or Master's Degree.15+ years of facilities or workplace operations experience.10+ years of management experience.Experience supporting multi-site or national organizations.Experience managing CAPEX budgets and facility improvement projects.Interested in hearing more?
