The role involves planning and delivering high-quality classes in 2D and 3D animation, guiding students through software tools, animation principles, and production workflows. The senior faculty member will mentor learners on projects, assignments, and showreel development, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve creative and technical skills. Responsibilities include developing and updating lesson plans, coordinating with academic leadership on curriculum enhancements, supporting assessments and examinations, and participating in workshops, reviews, and events to strengthen the academic environment. The role also includes staying current with industry trends and integrating real-world practices into classroom teaching.QualificationsStrong expertise in 2D and 3D animation principles, character animation, and motion design.Proficiency with industry-standard animation and design tools (e.g., Maya/3ds Max, Blender, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent).Ability to design structured lesson plans, course materials, and project briefs tailored to different skill levels.Experience mentoring or teaching students, including delivering clear demonstrations, critiques, and guidance.Strong visual storytelling, composition, and design skills, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.Relevant academic background in Animation, Fine Arts, Design, Media, or a related discipline; professional studio experience is highly beneficial.Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and continuous professional development in the creative and media arts field.
