The role includes designing course curricula, preparing instructional materials, assessing student performance, and providing academic advising and mentoring. The faculty member will be expected to undertake independent and collaborative research, publish in reputable journals, and contribute to the academic reputation of the department. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental and university committees, engaging with industry and professional bodies, supervising dissertations and research projects, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.Qualifications Strong expertise in core Finance domains, including Corporate Finance and financial analysis.Solid grounding in Accounting principles and practices relevant to academic and corporate settings.Advanced competency in Economics and applied economic analysis in business and financial contexts.Demonstrated research skills, including designing studies, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and guiding scholarly work.Doctoral degree (PhD) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.Significant teaching experience at the university level, preferably in postgraduate and executive programs.Experience supervising research scholars and guiding dissertations or theses.Strong communication, presentation, and academic writing skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners.Evidence of industry engagement, consulting, or professional practice in finance or related fields is an advantage.Commitment to ethical academic conduct, inclusive teaching practices, and ongoing professional development.
