Senior Fashion Designer

derschutze is looking for a Senior Fashion Designer with a strong understanding of streetwear and a distinctive creative point of view. You will create original garments and help shape our collections, bringing fresh ideas to silhouettes, fabrics, washes and details.Working closely with our Head of Design and design team in Istanbul, you will develop concept-driven collections where silhouette, graphics, embroidery, fabric and finishing work together. We’re looking for someone who understands streetwear culture and can translate that understanding into original products with a clear identity.Your role

• Develop original concepts and garment designs across denim, outerwear, jersey and other collection categories.
• Explore proportions, washes, textures, graphics and embroidery as integral parts of each design.
• Build individual pieces into a cohesive collection with a clear story.
• Collaborate with our technical designer and embroidery specialists to bring ideas to life.
• Refine samples with the design and production teams, focusing on fit, construction and detail.
• Take ownership of your designs from initial concept through final sample.What we’re looking for
• Strong professional fashion design experience, ideally within streetwear or a closely related contemporary clothing brand.
• A portfolio showing original garment and collection concepts, strong silhouettes and successfully realised products.
• A developed understanding of streetwear culture, references and how people wear and style clothes.
• Confidence working with denim, jersey, washes, graphics and embroidery.
• The ability to contribute fresh ideas while understanding an established brand’s identity.
