The Senior Fashion Designer will lead the design and development of fashion collections, from concept and trend research to final samples, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market demands. Responsibilities include creating sketches and technical drawings, selecting fabrics and textiles, overseeing fittings, and collaborating with pattern makers, merchandisers, and production teams. The role involves supervising embroidery and detailing work, maintaining quality standards, and providing creative direction to junior designers. The Senior Fashion Designer will also contribute to collection planning, vendor coordination, and client presentations as needed.Qualifications Strong Fashion Design and Fashion concept development skills, with a clear understanding of contemporary trends and market preferences.Hands-on expertise in Embroidery and decorative detailing for garments and accessories.Practical experience in Fitting, garment construction, and ensuring accurate drape and silhouette.Knowledge of Textiles, fabric properties, and material selection for different designs and seasons.Proficiency in fashion illustration and design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools).Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers or design assistants.Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with production, merchandising, and vendor teams.Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field, with prior experience in a senior or lead design role.Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
