This role is responsible for traveling to customer locations to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial fiber laser cutting systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to represent Boss Laser professionally while working directly with customers in the field. This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful machine installations, minimizing downtime, and delivering exceptional service to our customers across the country.ResponsibilitiesInstall, calibrate, and commission fiber laser systems at customer locations with precision and efficiency.Travel to customer locations to perform installation, setup, and commissioning of fiber laser cutting systemsPerform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of fiber laser machines, electrical systems, motion systems, and related equipmentUtilize hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipmentProvide professional and responsive customer service while representing Boss Laser in the fieldConduct preventative maintenance visits and system performance evaluationsRequirements3–4+ years of experience working with fiber laser cutting systems or similar CNC industrial equipmentStrong knowledge of electrical systems, servo motors, drives, sensors, and machine controlsExperience with laser sources, cutting heads, chillers, compressors, and motion control systemsAbility to read electrical schematics and technical documentationExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work directly with customersAbility to travel frequently and work independently in the fieldConfident presenter and trainerBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience:Fiber Laser Systems: 3 years (Required)Willingness to travel:100% (Required)Work Location: In person
