Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout BitecBitec Co. Ltd supplies repair, spare parts, refurbishment, and second-source components to specialty and mature node wafer fabs. Headquartered in Korea with operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Europe and the United States, we support CMP, etch, CVD, implant and thermal systems across the major OEM platforms. Our Oregon site handles mechanical and thermal repair and US logistics for North American customers. The role:You will be the Bitec engineer our US customers see. The work is on site at wafer fabs: troubleshooting equipment, carrying out preventive maintenance, swapping and repairing modules, and supporting installation and hook up. Alongside the hands-on work you are our eyes in the fab, understanding what is actually causing customers' problems and bringing that back so we solve it properly rather than one call at a time. What you will be working on:On-site troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and corrective repair at customer wafer fabs.Mechanical and motion work across CMP and process modules, including rotary union, load port, HSLU, loader indexers, actuators.Installation, hook-up and commissioning support on customer tools.Fault diagnosis to component level, and coordinating the right parts and repair route, including units that route to the Korea depot. Recording tool condition, fleet detail and recurring failure modes, and feeding that back so it informs the account view rather than sitting in one engineer's head.Meeting customer engineers to understand operational problems, and supporting the commercial team with what you learn on site.Producing clear service reports and preventive maintenance records. What we are looking for:Five to eight years in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent hands-on field service experience.Semiconductor equipment background strongly preferred: CMP, etch, CVD, implant, thermal systems orcomparable front-end modules.Comfortable across vacuum, pneumatics, motion control and electrical fault finding.Able to work independently at a customer site and hold to fab cleanroom protocol.Good customer manner. You will often be the only Bitec person in the room.Valid driver licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.Authorised to work in the United States.Helpful, not essentialExperience with AMAT, LAM, TEL or Ebara platforms.Prior embedded or resident engineer experience inside a customer fab.Familiarity with SEMI safety standards and lockout/tagout practice.
