Senior Finance Director

Business Umbrella is hiring a Senior Finance Director on behalf of a reputable client in the UAE.About the RoleReporting to the CFO, you will be the principal finance execution lead, owning financial governance, performance management, reporting, compliance and systems, and ensuring information presented to the CFO, Board, banks and auditors is accurate, timely and decision-ready.Key ResponsibilitiesGovernance & Closing: Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close; ensure integrity of accruals, provisions, inventory valuation and cost allocations under IFRSPlanning & Performance: Lead budgets, reforecasts and long-range plans; variance analysis, scenario and sensitivity modelsManagement & Board Reporting: Deliver monthly MIS packs with commentary and KPIs; weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts; analysis for lenders and auditorsCash & Treasury Support: Control receivables, payables and inventory; support banking relationships, facilities reporting and covenant trackingTax, Compliance & Audit: Oversee VAT and Corporate Tax filings; coordinate statutory audits; maintain strong internal controlsCost & Margin Control: Monitor product costing, yield, wastage and overhead absorption; identify margin leakage and savingsERP Governance: Act as finance owner of ERP (SAP Business One) data integrity, reports and controlsPolicies & Risk: Maintain finance policies and SOPs; identify and escalate financial risksLeadership: Lead, coach and develop the finance team and build a resilient finance structureRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or EconomicsCPA / ACCA / CMA strongly preferred10+ years in finance, including senior management exposureStrong experience in manufacturing / FMCG environmentsHands-on SAP Business One experience preferredSound financial judgement, governance mindset and confident senior stakeholder communicationWorking Details
